MARSEILLE | (DISCHI AUTUNNO, BILOGIC RECORDS) LIVE & DJ
Harold Boué aka Abstraxion and Lion's Drums, is a French producer and musician based in Marseille.
He started producing music under the name Abstraxion in 2005, and has so far released several EPs as well as two albums ("Break of Lights" on Nicolas Jaar's Other People label - 2013 & "She Thought She would Last Forever" on Biologic Records - 2016). His latest EP "Black Vulture" was released in May 2019 on Jennifer Cardini's label Dischi Autunno, featuring remixes of Black Merlin and Interstellar Funk.
His music has no boundaries and defends an explosion of influences and musical genres. From Italo disco to EBM, from early trance rave to synth wave, Harold always plays on the balance between flesh and machine. For his new live set, he uses a modular GRP A4, giving a modern interpretation to the euphoric sound of the 80s and 90s with a warm and dancefloor approach.
Harold co-manages Biologic Records with his sidekick DC Salas, having released records by Matisa, Glitter, Malcolm, among others. He travels the world for live and DJ sets in places like Pitchfork festival or Berghain/Panorama-bar, and occasionally shares the turntables B2B with artists like Roman Flügel, Jennifer Cardini, Budino, Chloé, Zozo, Alessandro Adriani...
He is hyperactive in Marseille's underground scene with projects like the queer parties Mouillette, Laboratoire des possibles and an upcoming album to be released in 2022 on Dischi Autunno. The next months of Harold will be very exciting.
