SYNOPSIS: Ishak is a man who lives alone in the province of Anatolia and earns his living playing the lute in a nightclub. One night, he receives an urgent phone call from his village, where he hasn't been for a long time. His mother is ill and wants to see him before she dies. Because he was forced to leave the village seven years ago, İshak returns with all sorts of worries and questions on his mind.
İshak's return to the village is not well received - neither his former comapgne, nor the village chief, nor İshak's childhood friends are particularly happy about it. There's a secret everyone wants to keep quiet. They hope İshak will soon leave the village...
